#MADEINCANADA
Fashion Art Toronto (FAT) 2015, held annually in April, kicks off April 21st and will run through to April 25th. The tenth annual arts and fashion week which is titled #MADEINCANADA, will showcase more than 200 national and international designers, visual artists and performers over the five day event being hosted at Daniel’s Spectrum, formally known as Regent Park Arts & Culture Centre. FAT welcomes over 5,000 guests each year which include buyers, curators, the media, and lovers of fashion and art. The 15,000 square foot venue will play host to FAT runway shows, photography exhibits, visual artists as well as performers, live music events and much more!
The fashion pieces being featured range from contemporary fashion to street wear. This fashion show allows designers the opportunity to showcase to the world their talent and express the fashion statements that appeal most to them.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Fashion Art Toronto – Arts & Fashion week, the theme is derived from perceptions, stereotypes, and iconic imagery pertaining to Canada. Each evening of the week will present a different Canadian inspired sub-theme: Great Wild, Cold North, Group of Seven, Northern Lights, and Global Village.
