Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary among the world’s top five most livable cities!
According to the Economist magazine’s 2012 list, Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary are in the world’s top five most liveable cities. The survey ranks 140 cities based on health care, stability, culture and environment, education and infrastructure- with a score of up to 100. Vancouver was the highest ranked Canadian city in third place with an overall score of 97.3, Toronto came in fourth with 97.2 and Calgary tied for fifth place with Adelaide, Australia with 96.6
Vancouver and Toronto outscored the other top 10 cities in stability and culture and environment, but fell short on infrastructure.
Melbourne, Australia ranked 1st on the list with a score of 97.5 followed by Vienna which scored 97.4.
