Santa Claus Is Coming To Town!
You better watch out; You better not cry; Better not pout; I’m telling you why; Santa Claus is coming to town!
Get your Santa hats, reindeer ears, red-nose, and elf hats ready! With another Halloween come and gone, it is time to get into the holiday spirit! On November 15th, Santa Claus will be ho-ho-hoing his way through the streets of Toronto during the annual Santa Claus Parade. This year marks the 111th parade with the Toronto tradition commencing back in 1905!
Santa and his reindeer will arrive at Christie Pits (Bloor Street West and Bathurst Street) at 12:30PM and proceed east along Bloor Street, south along Avenue Road/University Avenue, then east along Wellington Street/Front Street (ending at Front Street and Jarvis Street).
Be sure to bundle up, after all, you will be spending a couple hours embracing the great outdoors while anxiously awaiting the appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Claus! Also, do not forget your large thermos of hot cocoa (with marshmallows – yum!) as it is a vital part of the parade experience!
