Winter Weather Fun: Top Tobogganing Spots in Toronto!
It’s the first day of March, but snowflakes are still falling –and they’re falling fast! With that being said, there’s no reason to frown or fear that spring is trying to avoid us. Instead, take advantage of this weather and hit the slopes to squeeze in a few more winter activities this season, like tobogganing!
Though you may be left wondering where you can find a park with the perfect incline in the city, there are plenty in Toronto and around the GTA. Here are a few to get you started (or sliding, rather)!
Centennial Park: Located in Etobicoke, this park is perfect for tobogganing. It has tons of slopes (some steep), as well as ski and snowboard areas just in case you get tired of the more classic activity!
Dufferin Grove Park: Sure, the slopes here are not that thrilling, but they’re ideal for beginners and families.
Trinity Bellwoods Park: Calling all daredevils! Pick up your toboggan and head over to Trinity Bellwoods for some steep hills.
Whatever your preference and need for speed are, make sure that you get out there and (safely) enjoy this blast of winter weather!
