Michael Huynh

Michael L. Huynh is a lawyer with Bellissimo Law Group. He holds law degrees from McGill’s Faculty of Law and an M.Sc. in Medical Genetics from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine. His experience spans both the public and private sector having worked with the Department of Justice Canada, Ontario Legislature, and Philippe Kirsch Institute/Canadian Centre for International Justice.

He currently sits on the Boards of Access Alliance and the Chinese & Southeast Asian Legal Clinic, two organizations that deliver, respectively, healthcare and poverty law services to Toronto’s newcomer and disadvantaged communities. Michael sees immigration and inclusion as powerful vehicles for improving people’s lives.

Michael practices primarily in litigation and is keenly interested in medical inadmissibility and the protection of refugees. He has argued before administrative tribunals, the Federal Court, Superior Court of Ontario and Ontario Court of Appeal.
