In short, the presentation as it currently reads amounts to a public marginalization of lawyers in a process in which they play a critical role. The focus of my study is to highlight the positives immigration lawyers play and to assist in the protection and promotion of the ability and right of licensed Canadian lawyers to represent individuals and companies with respect to immigration, refugee and citizenship matters.
