Temporary Foreign Worker Program Under Review

According to CIC, TFW – needs a review – it has become too complicated.  Program has doubled but how does it interact with employment insurance policies, regional economic activity.  Minister has concerns TFW filling permanent jobs, creating a sub class of low skill? Wage increases, requirements, prevailing wage rates, return of ELMO, longer LMOs – sectors have many concerns and so changes coming again. Many factors to consider including 14% youth unemployment here in Canada.
