Vancouver . . . The Good!
As I travelled back to Toronto from Vancouver I was thinking it would be wonderful for clients to attend an immigration lawyers’ conference. I spoke at the Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia Chapter on Medical Inadmissibility. I was also able to attend a few of the other presentations and was impressed by their passion, insight and knowledge. Lawyers often are criticized for focusing on fees rather than people’s lives. Nevertheless, I can write without hesitation that, although there are bad apples in any walk of life, the overwhelmingly majority of the lawyers I have met care about their clients and want a good result for their client and his/her family.
Nice to be part of an immigration bar that cares.
