Robert Bafaro

Robert Bafaro is a lawyer with 21 years of experience in citizenship, immigration and refugee law as a former Board Member of the Immigration and Refugee Board in Toronto and as a litigator and legal adviser with the Ontario regional office of the Immigration Section of the Department of Justice in Toronto. He has extensive litigation experience at the Federal Court and has worked overseas as a visa officer at Canada’s Embassies and High Commissions in Ghana and Albania. Mr. Bafaro has trained front-line immigration officers, paralegals, articling students, junior lawyers, and legal secretaries. Mr. Bafaro received an international award for playing an integral role in the planning, coordination, and execution of Canada’s intervention, “Operation Parasol”, in the humanitarian                                              crisis in Kosovo.
