Our Recent Immigration Success Stories

At Bellissimo Immigration Law Group PC, we are privileged to work on behalf of many wonderful people, companies and associations. We represent immigration applicants from far outside Canada, from the time they step foot into the country’s airport waiting rooms all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Our immigration clients often tell us after their case is concluded that it would have helped to know of similar stories that are real and not just what you hear on the street. So every month, we post a few stories to celebrate our immigration success stories and offer some comfort to those who will soon embark on a similar journey…

Caregiver LMIA application approved in one month!

Our office assisted a client who wished to hire a caregiver for his children under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) requirements.  Given all the recent changes that occurred to this program, it was essential that all advertising was submitted properly.  We assisted our client to complete recruitment, submit a LMIA application, and make submissions as to why a foreign hire was required.  Our submissions were accepted and his application was approved in one month.

Challenging Study Permit Approved!

We just received an approval of a study permit. This was a challenging application, as the client previously applied on his own twice and both times he was refused.  We undertook an extensive review of our client’s history, conducted in depth meetings and prepared detailed submissions as well as collected extensive evidence and then linked the submissions to the evidence in a concise and thorough manner. It was a lot of hard work but overcoming two previous study permit refusals requires careful preparation.  Our client is thrilled and we are happy to be have been of assistance that made a difference.

Parental Sponsorship Application Approved Despite Medical Inadmissibility Finding

We were successful on a parental sponsorship application that was to be refused for medical inadmissibility because of a Chronic Hepatitis C Infection, and the resulting expensive medication. With the assistance of medical specialists and critical research we were able to assist the family with their application and were successful in presenting an accurate and individualized plan, demonstrating that the family member would not cause an excessive demand in Canada.
