Additional Administrative Change to be Implemented by IAD

On March 1, 2016 The IAD (Immigration Appeal Division) is set to introduce a new change that aims to aid wait times by reducing delays. Particularly, this will focus on the cancellation of a stay of a removal order, as detailed under subsection 68(4) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Initial administrative changes were first introduced by the IAD on July 2, 2015 and have ultimately helped the department focus resources where needed.
