Canada’s Must-See Natural Wonders!
Canada, being the second largest country in the world, is a place filled with vibrant cities and open landscapes. Although Canada has wonderful man-made attractions, there is nothing quite as beautiful as the nation’s natural wonders. If you are interested in visiting Canada, here are a few geological sights to explore:
Niagara Falls, Ontario: This natural wonder lies half in Canada, and half in the United States. Its cascading waters can be observed from multiple angles, such as from the side, on top or even underneath (in a mist boat)!
The Northern Lights, Alberta: Also known as the Aurora Borealis, the solar winds that combine with particles to create colours of green, red and purple, is a must- see in person!
Dinosaur Provincial Park, Alberta: Approximately 75 million years ago, this region of Canada was populated by dinosaurs, and is the closest you’ll get to accessing a wold of Jurassic Park!
Singing Sand, Prince Edward Island: Take a stroll through Basin Head beach, and listen to the unique whistling tune that the sand makes when your feet touch the surface!
Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick: The Hopewell Rocks is a sight like no other, as they have been carved into “flowerpot” shapes by the ranging tides!
Each natural wonder mentioned is fascinating in its own way, and is guaranteed to leave you breathless at first sight!
