Canadian National Exhibition 2018 Opens This Friday!

It’s that time of the year again! The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) begins this Friday, August 17th and runs until Monday, September 3rd! The CNE is known to thrill, terrify, and amaze thousands of guests for 18 days with rides, performances, a lantern festival, an Asian night market and deep fried everything! With approximately 1.5 million visitors per year, the CNE is Canada’s largest fair and the 5th largest in North America! The first CNE took place in 1879 to promote agriculture and technology in Canada. As time went on and Canada grew into a larger country, the CNE has also transformed as it continues to reflect the diversity and innovation that Canada is known for. The CNE is known as an annual tradition to many people in the GTA and surrounding areas.
