Canadian Snowbirds Take Flight in The U.S.!
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s the Snowbirds! You can usually catch these Canadian military jets streaking over domestic skies, generally during major events and commemorative ceremonies, such as the annual Remembrance Day on November 11.
Today however, they took a trip down south and flew over Washington, D.C. Their path took them around the city, including over the National Mall. The reason for the Snowbird’s detour? It was all in the name of recognizing good relations between Canada and the United States.
