Immigration Law Conference in Halifax
I am just returning from the Canadian Bar Association’s National Immigration Law Conference in Halifax. I was privileged to be co-chair of the agenda committee again this year. What a wonderful conference and the people of Halifax were so warm and friendly. The passionate sharing of views and knowledge amongst representatives from Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the Canada Border Services Agency, Service Canada, the Department of Justice, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and the Immigration and Refugee Board was truly inspiring.
For immigration representatives and for those of you reading this intending to immigrate to Canada be assured Canadian immigration matters are in good hands. The pursuit of fairness, access to justice and equality for all is honored not simply in word but by deed in Canada. Congrats to all who helped make the conference another smashing success in 2010!
