Judicial Appointments

The Honourable Yvan Roy, a lawyer with the Government of Canada, Privy Council Office, in Ottawa, is appointed a Judge of the Federal Court, to replace Mr. Justice M. Beaudry, who elected to become a supernumerary judge as of January 25, 2012.

The Honourable Cecily Y. Strickland, a lawyer with Stewart McKelvey in St. John’s, is appointed a Judge of the Federal Court, to replace Mr. Justice M. Kelen, who resigned effective June 14, 2012.
