Kudos to the Canadian Media!

I have been approached by many members of the media including CBC Radio to share my views regarding the proposed refugee reforms. I also had the privilege to hear Minister Kenney speak at our National CBA Immigration Conference in Halifax where he shared his views on the proposed changes in an impassioned and articulate way. Members of the media were there too.

Tomorrow, I will be doing a TV interview with a successful refugee claimant that we represented to share both our views regarding the amendments. I must give a big thanks to the Canadian media who has had a lot of time for this issue and continues to keep it at the forefront of Canadians minds. The media is a powerful tool and it is reassuring to see so many who work within its ranks really searching to understand the issues to present a balanced reporting to Canadians and would be Canadians. Job well done!
