Lending a Helping Hand in Toronto!
Summer has started and with that, you may happen to find more free time in your schedule. Sure, you can attend events and festivals around the city, but why not give back in the meantime? Get involved in the community and make a difference while also having fun. Take a look at three ideas below that combine the best of both worlds:
Cardiac Smash Ping-Pong Challenge: The Heart and Stroke Foundation is seeking volunteers to assist with their Cardiac Smash Corporate Ping-Pong Challenge. To be held on July 15th at SPIN Toronto, this promises to be a fun-filled event that also raises money to support the foundation. For more details, please click here.
Toronto BuskerFest: Held annually on the city’s Front Street, BuskerFest is an event that through various performances, raises funds for Epilepsy Toronto. Currently, they are looking for volunteers to assist with activities and the newly created Children’s and Family Zone from Thursday, August 27th until Sunday, August 30th. Toronto International Film Festival: TIFF takes place each September in Toronto and aside from featuring the best of international films, is also a charitable organization. Sign-up to volunteer and who knows, you may even see a Hollywood star or two. For details, click here!
