Mario D. Bellissimo Featured In The Toronto Star: “Cracks In System Allow Fraudsters To Get Citizenship, Auditor Finds.”
The Auditor General’s 2016 Spring Reports have been released, and Canadian Citizenship is at the centre of discussion. Specifically, the report has unveiled a flawed system –one which still allows for those who are not eligible for citizenship to attain it. Mario D. Bellissimo was featured in a Toronto Star article by Nicholas Keung which examines the matter. He is quoted as saying that “[n]o system is 100 per cent perfect. This is a good start but we need to measure the actual impact of what’s being missed and understand how prolific the issue is”.
