JUDICIAL APPOINTMENTS
OTTAWA, December16, 2011 – Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced the followingappointment:
The HonourablePaul S. Crampton, a judge of the Federal Court, is appointed Chief Justice to replace the Honourable A.F. Lutfy who became a supernumerary judge on October1, 2011. Mr. Justice Crampton was appointed to the Federal Court in 2009.

OTTAWA, December 16, 2011 – The Honourable Rob Nicholson, P.C., Q.C., M.P.for Niagara Falls, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, today announced the following appointment:
The Honourable Mary J.L. Gleason, a lawyer with Norton Rose LLP in Ottawa, is appointed a judge of the Federal Court to replace Mr. Justice P.S. Crampton, who was appointed Chief Justice on December 15, 2011.

OTTAWA, le 16décembre 2011 – Le Premier ministre Stephen Harper a annoncé aujourd’hui une nomination à la magistrature :
L’honorable PaulS. Crampton, juge de la Cour fédérale, est nommé juge en chef en remplacement de l’honorable A.F. Lutfy, devenu juge surnuméraire le 1er octobre2011. Monsieur le juge Crampton avait été nommé à la Cour fédérale en 2009.
