Q: Can my spouse or common-law partner or brother co-sign the Sponsorship Agreement?

A: Yes, your spouse / common-law partner can co-sign the Sponsorship Agreement and they must fulfill the same requirements as the principal sponsor.No other family member is eligible to co-sign.

Q: What do I do after I am approved as a sponsor?

A: Your file will be forwarded overseas for processing.If they are medically and criminally admissible, and proof of relationship is established they will receive their visas to immigrate to Canada.

Q: What happens if I change my mind after I am approved as a sponsor?

A: If you do not want to sponsor your parents at some point you must write a letter to CPC Mississauga before your parents receive their visas.
