Two Successful Decisions . . . Good for the Soul

I was involved in two complex matters this week where in the end the Federal Court (deportation case) in one case and the Immigration Appeal Division (medical case) in the other made the right decisions. I say this not because we obtained a successful result in both although always welcomed after the late nights and many hours of preparation, but how the decisions were made.

In both cases all parties worked together and proactively to arrive at a fair decision for all concerned. Although both matters continue, it is a pleasant reminder for me of the many wonderful people who work in this industry and more important still, that applicants have access to meaningful justice. Now on to the next case . . .
